The annual senior prom held by the La Vergne Senior Center is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:30 this Saturday evening (5/5/2012). The theme this year is “Remember When.” 

Senior Coordinator Donna Bebout said, “So many of our senior center members never had the opportunity to go to their own high school prom so this is a way to let them experience the excitement and anticipation of going to a prom, getting dressed up, wearing a corsage, and dancing and giggling with their friends. Just like high school students, our members look forward to this senior prom every year.”

A king and queen are named every year, drawn from a hat of nominations.

Light refreshments will be served and DJ A.C. Davis will play music ranging from 50’s songs to the electric slide. Tickets are required in advance, but are free toSeniorCentermembers ($5 for non-members).
