The Fatal Accident Crash Team for the Murfreesboro Police Department is investigating a serious auto accident that occured on South Church Street near Warrior Drive. The accident occurred shortly after 5:00 on Friday afternoon. Traffic was stalled for over an hour.

Murfreesboro Police Sargent Kyle Evans told WGNS that details of the wreck would be released on Monday. As of 9:30, Friday night, Evans told us that the accident was not a fatality. 

At this point, it appears as if three persons were transported to the hospital, two to a Nashville medical center by way of helicopter.
