High winds, pelting rain and lightning whipped across the mid-state Saturday afternoon. The Blue Raider-Commodore game at Dudley Stadium was on hold an hour and forty-five minutes.

When the weather cleared, another storm descended with Vanderbilt on top 47 - 24. No rainbows there, but they were reported all over Murfreesboro.

Across the area, trees were downed--including a large one that blocked West Main Street.

After the storm passed, reports of numerous rainbows came into NewsRadio WGNS.
