There was a serious one-vehicle crash in Walter Hill around 8:40 Sunday morning (8/18/2013).  A car went off the roadway and slammed into a tree near 1032 East Jefferson Pike. 

Rutherford County Emergency Medical Service and Walter Hill Rescue helped stabalize the victim and then transport him to the landfill where a LifeFlight helicopter landed at 9:08AM. The person was taken to the trauma center at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Their condition is not known at this time.
