The 13.1-mile course starts and stops at MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and the course is around the beautiful flat and tree-lined Murfreesboro historic district. The Murfreesboro Half Marathon course has been certified as accurate in measurement according to the standards adopted by the USATF Road Running Technical Council. Sex Offender Arrested for Failing to Register

PrintA tip from CrimeStoppers netted one arrest on Monday. The tip was about a sex offender who was living with children and who failed to register his address with the authorities. James M. Williams last registered with Murfreesboro Police in 2009. He was charged with violating the sex offender registry.
