Shoplifting continues to be a problem for Rutherford County retailers. In this report, the same female is suspected of stealing jewelry from both Walmart in Smyrna and Walmart in Murfreesboro on Old Fort Parkway in recent days. Authorities were able to view the woman who stole the jewelry on a security video, but an arrest has yet to be made.

In Murfreesboro, the woman allegedly took 19-pieces of jewelry valued at over $1,200. The female was seen leaving the store in a green GMC or Chevy Astro style van from the late 1990’s. She also had a handicap license plate.

Again, no arrests have been made at this point.
