The search continues for a suspect who apparently assaulted a woman and a security guard and fired shots at a Murfreesboro bar. Officer Megan Benson reports being called to TEMPT around 2:20 Saturday morning, making contact with the security guard. He reported a female subject said she was being bothered by a male subject. When the guard approached the man, he reported being pushed then hit in the head with a beer bottle. The suspect then fled the scene. Officer Benson was called to the scene to investigate shots fired at the West Main Street bar. Several shell casings were recovered from the scene. So far, the suspect in the case has not been caught.
