Several residents in the Diana Street area reported to Murfreesboro Police they heard gun shots. The reports came in around 10:15 Saturday night from at least four different people.

One told Officer Jonathan Sherwood he saw a maroon colored car and a gold colored car race off toward Middle Tennessee Boulevard after hearing four shots.

During the investigation, Officer Sherwood reports four 9mm shell casings were found in front of a home in the 12-hundred block of Diana. There were no injuries reported.
