Local ADHD Coach Jason B. Bour, CLC of New Beginnings Coaching Services in Smyrna, TN has been chosen as one of the professional presenters at the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) World Conference this September.

The American Association of Christian Counselors is an approved CE provider with both the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). Mental health providers from across the nation gather each year attending workshops to expand ideas and share knowledge.  This year’s conference will be hosted at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville.

“It is an honor to be invited to attend this year’s conference as a presenter,”Bour said, “ This is a testament of what hard work,  commitment, and dedication can accomplish.”

Mr. Bour has been in practice since 2009 specializing in ADHD Coaching for adolescents and adults.  Diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as an adult himself he realized the importance of having the right tools to manage ADHD in addition to current treatment options.  Using the coaching process, Bour was able to turn is life around, and rebuild his life.

The title of Mr. Bour’s poster presentation is “Rebuilding your life with ADHD Coaching.”

In addition to ADHD Coaching, New Beginnings Coaching Services also offers Life Coaching, and Health & Wellness Coaching.  With the help of current technology Mr. Bour has worked with clients from as far away as Oregon using video conferencing.

This presentation is available for small groups, churches, and schools to increase awareness about ADHD in the community.  A separate presentation for teachers is also available for in-service training.

“Education and awareness is important for people to get the help they need, and I hope what I do helps others understand ADHD, and how it effects their lives.”

Last year Bour was one of the professions that worked with Shire Pharmaceuticals on an education project titled “ADHD Shared Focus”.
