Smyrna will have their National Night Out Against Crime Tuesday night. The Smyrna Police and Fire Departments along with the Smyrna Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will host the event at Lee Victory Parkway. It will be held from 4 until 7pm.

SPD Chief Kevin Arnold says bring your family and friends out to an event where you can see numerous static displays. The annual nationwide event is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and is a neighborhood crime and drug prevention effort.

He says participants will be given information on safety and can enjoy games, music, and food.
