Smyrna Police are asking for the public's help in trying to find two suspects in a purse stealing. It happened on June 22nd at approximately 12:30 pm, at the Shell Gas Station on Sam Ridley Parkway. Chief Kevin Arnold says two suspects in a white Scion TC with tinted windows stole a purse from a vehicle in the parking lot. A witness saw the two men and what they were doing and alerted the owner of the car, Christina Shinlever, as to what the men were doing. She ran out and grabbed the passenger door of the suspects’ car and pleaded with them to stop as the vehicle backed out of a parking spot next to Ms. Shinlever’s car. The vehicle continued going and drug the victim beside the car and caused her the fall on the asphalt. Ms. Shinlever received abrasions to her nose and arms.

One suspect is described as a white male, 5’9” with a medium build wearing a green button up shirt, blue jeans and a white ball cap. The other is a white male, 5’9” with a slim build wearing a white button up shirt, Khaki shorts, sun glasses and his hair is shaved on both sides.

Anyone with information as to who the men are or information on the vehicle is asked to contact the Smyrna Police Department, Detective Rick Hall at (615)459-6644. We have surveillance photos on our website, WGNSRadio.com.
