On October the 2nd, Officers with the Smyrna Police Department conducted home visits on all 30 Sex Offenders living in the Town Limits of Smyrna. All 30 were found to be living at the appropriate location and within the guidelines set by Tennessee State law. One individual, Samuel David Adams, was found to have an outstanding Violation of Probation Warrant on him and was arrested for that violation. Kevin Arnold, Chief of the Smyrna Police Department, told us the department continues to plan future residency checks on subjects that work in the town limits as well.
