Smyrna Police Want Laray Gleaves

Smyrna Police are searching for Angelo Laray Gleaves. He is wanted in connection with breaking into a home on June 16th and taking several firearms and a computer. On July 23rd, he allegedly entered another home, just down the street, and left with jewelry. 

Smyrna Police Chief Kevin Arnold told WGNS News, "He was seen in the residence by an employee of the housing area. The employee began taking pictures of Mr. Gleaves. Mr. Gleaves pulled a firearm out and pointed it at the employee and took his cell phone by force."

Gleaves was also accompanied by an unknown black male during the incident in July.

The Smyrna Police Department currently has active warrants on Angelo Laray Gleaves for Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Burglary, two counts of Theft over $1,000.00, and two counts of Vandalism over $500.00.

Chief Arnold noted, "We are seeking information on where Mr. Gleaves can be found and also any information that may assist us in identifying who may have been with him on July 23rd, 2014."

Angelo Laray Gleaves is described as being 6’1” tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was last known to be living in the Dickerson Pike area in Nashville. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
