Pat Summitt, the iconic University of Tennessee women's basketball coach who became the winningest coach in college basketball history, has died at the age of 64.
The City of Murfreesboro Urban Environmental Department is excited to announce the Community Landscape Award winners for Summer 2014.
Congratulations to Lillian Hibbett whose property at 511 Kingwood Drive has been selected by the Urban Environmental Department as a Community Landscape Award winner in the single-family residential category.
The Urban Environmental Department is also excited to announce that Cheddar's Restaurant, located at 1829 Old Fort Parkway, has been selected as a Community Award winner in the commercial category.
The Murfreesboro Urban Environmental Department recognizes properties in the City of Murfreesboro that make positive contributions to the city's landscape. Many Murfreesboro residents and business owners maintain beautiful landscapes. These landscapes contribute greatly to the quality of life enjoyed by both citizens and visitors. Winning properties of the Community Landscape Awards are selected during the summer months.
