Sobriety Checkpoint Planned for Sunday

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is planning for a sobriety checkpoint on Labor Day weekend.

Again, that checkpoint will be on Sunday on Broad Street at State Route 840.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday. Social Security employees will continue to work their regular shifts, but this change allows time for face-to-face consultations as well as processing more claims.
