WGNS was told that several hundred parents and Blackman High School supporters are meeting to support Blackman High School Football Coach Philip Shadowens, and ask that he be reinstated to his job at Blackman High School. Courtney Rowland told WGNS in an email, "He was asked to resign on February 13, 2015."

The meeting will be at 6:30 this evening (Thursday 2/19/15) at the National Guard Armory in Murfreesboro.
