A search warrant of a Smyrna business led to an impersonation arrest warrant issued, as well as evidence gathered for criminal proceedings. The Smyrna Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, and Homeland Security Investigations worked as a team.

Last Wednesday (11/12/2014) officers executed the search warrant at Royal Therapy. That business is located at 557 South Lowry Street in Smyrna.

The search warrant was the result of an investigation that began in September of this year.

Smyrna Police initiated an investigation in reference to possible prostitution occurring inside the business.

Investigators conducted undercover operations and a search warrant was obtained.

The business was unoccupied at the time. However, investigators were able to gather evidence and pursue criminal proceedings. Arrest warrants for Impersonation of a Licensed Professional and Promoting Prostitution have been issued for Nam Rye Jang.

This was a part of a multi-county investigation. CLICK HERE for more on this human trafficking story.
