Special Fundraiser 5k for Teacher Suffering from Stage 4 Lymphoma

A beloved educator at Oakland Middle School has just been diagnosed with stage four Lymphoma. Students and teachers are coming together to help in fundraising efforts to cover some of the upcoming medical expenses for band teacher Scott Kinney.

The event entitled “Run for Skinney” will be held on Saturday, December 1st at Oakland Middle on DeJarnette lane in Murfreesboro. The run will include a 5k and a 1-mile walk. Onsite registration will begin at 8:15 and the run will start at 9.
