CB&S Bank of Murfreesboro organized a very special Christmas party for children with special needs and their families at Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center on Saturday.

The annual party hosted over 340 guests including children served by the local nonprofit and their families. CB&S Bank staff and board members volunteered their time to coordinate the holiday event for the fourth year by providing breakfast, crafts, goody bags, and a puppet show performed by volunteers from Linebaugh Library for the children to enjoy. The party also included pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus and a reading of the Christmas story from the Bible.

"We are so thankful for CB&S Bank's continued commitment and service to the kids," said Chris Truelove, Special Kids executive director. "CB&S Bank's Christmas party sponsorship has provided a way for our children to participate in a typical activity that many of us take for granted. "

This year CB&S Bank was joined by other local businesses including food sponsors Five Senses, Dunkin Donuts, and Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company. Goody bag contributors included Wendy's, McDonald's, Chili's Bar and Grill, Chuy's Murfreesboro, Office Depot, Harper Collins, and Mr. Duggin Barns.
