VERBATIM: We spoke with Murfreesboro resident Frank Caperton who told us he was honored to attend the unveiling of the ‘Eternal Memorial’ monument at Smyrna High School this past Saturday (November 16, 2013).  The monument is to memorialize those whom have given their “all” in service to our nation.

Caperton told WGNS, “We laughed and we cried; one moment the mood was joyous, the next somber.”

Caperton captured the moment on camera and those picutures can be viewed on WGNSradio.com (Below).
