SportsCom Could See $2.9-Million Improvement Project

Wish they would add another public pool to a different area, like the south end. Murfreesboro is so big now and traffic is so congested in many areas. Our family would go there, but it's so far away. Not worth the hassel of the traffic & distance.

Sportscom already has a nice facility. If they would just take a part of that 9 million and spend it on the pool at Patterson Park it would be money well spent. The pool at Patterson Park is NASTY. There are gobs of hair floating, a nasty ring all the way around the pool. There are numerous people who attend water arobics at PP. We have a wonderful instructer, Cindy, who is very intergetic and you know you have had a workout when you leave. Also, one morning the water temp may be 88 and the next morning 76. This pool is a disgrace for the city of Murfreesboro. Why not go to the class at Sportscom??? Because the water is so cold you freeze and the instructer very rarely gets in the water and when you leave there your body tells you nothing because you can't even tell you have been there. Come on City Council.......Clean up Patterson Park
