St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital's Medical Mission will have two mobile health units at Murfreesboro's Olive Branch Church from 10:00 o'clock this Saturday morning until 2:00 in the afternoon. The large pink Mission In Motion Mobile Mammography Coach will be offering mammograms along with the medical mission team providing medical and behavioral health care. The free program will also furnish screenings for diabetes and cholesterol; plus foot, vision, dental and spiritual care. Even the Dispensary of Hope will be at the 1115 Minerva Drive location.

Mobile Health Outreach Coordinator Kathy Ferrell said, "We are incredibly excited to share that we will have a large dental presence through Hope Smiles and Brentwood Baptist Church’s Mobile Dental Unit—dental will actually begin at 9:00.  The focus of the adult dental will be extractions.  Dana Garrett’s dental team from the Rutherford County Health Department will be onsite to provide cleanings and sealants for children (ages 21 and under).  All of the services are on a first come, first serve basis with the goal being to care for as many of our most vulnerable neighbors as possible."

She continued, "A special thank you to Vincent Windrow, Greg McKnight, and the entire congregation of Olive Branch Church for partnering with Saint Thomas Rutherford and so graciously allowing us to literally take over your entire campus for the Medical Mission."
