Stolen Motorcycle from Nashville Found in Murfreesboro

A green Kawasaki Ninja 250 that was reported as stolen in Nashville has been recovered in Murfreesboro. The bike was found in a vacant storage building at Compass Self Storage on Jessica Street.

When Murfreesboro Police ran the VIN number on the 2012 Ninja, it was confirmed to be stolen. The person who originally rented the storage space was identified as a 20-year old man in LaVergne. However, an arrest has not been made.

When the subject rented the storage unit, he told the landlord that he was going to store two ATV's in the garage. After renting the unit for one month, he never returned.

The rightful owner of the Kawasaki Ninja has since been contacted.
