Print22-Storm drain grates weighing 175-pounds each were stolen! If you’re trying to do the math, that’s 3,850 pounds of storm drain grates. Each grate costs approximately $175. The grates were stolen from the area of Veterans Parkway. The Murfreesboro Street and Sign Department believes the grates were likely stolen on the night of the 13th. So far, the metal grates have not been sold to any local metal scrap yards.
