The Murfreesboro Soccer Club (MSC) Strikers 02 Premier team was named Champion in the Under 14 Boys First Division Bracket at the third annual Battle at the Jack soccer tournament with 19 goals for and 3 against. The tournament was held in Decatur, AL, Sept. 18 through 20, 2015.

"We are extremely proud of the MSC Strikers 02 Premier team," said Coach Erich Delfs. "The boys are really beginning to think their way through a match and solve problems on the field with creativity. From a developmental perspective, they are exceeding expectations, and it all paid off with the top spot and a fantastic win for the team and the club."

Battle at the Jack is considered one of the best and fastest growing tournaments in the southeast U.S. The tournament is an Alabama Soccer Association and United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA)-sanctioned tournament and is held at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex in Decatur, AL.

The three-day tournament attracted a sold-out field of 100 teams from across the Southeast, bringing together some of the region's best youth soccer players to Decatur.

Hosted by the River City United Soccer Club, Battle at the Jack offers USYSA affiliated Challenge, Classic, and Academy level U9-U19 girls' and boys' competitive soccer opportunities.
