The United Way “Stuff the Bus” sort-a-thon took place on Friday at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Murfreesboro. The event was a great success. View even more pictures taken by Murfreesboro resident Chad Cunningham HERE. 

Literacy kits will be distributed to Rutherford County Schools and Murfreesboro City Schools for children in pre-k through the third grade.

Last year’s Stuff the Bus resulted in 17,264 items collected and 1,027 literacy kits assembled by 97 volunteers. This year, even more were put together. 1500 literacy kits were made with the help of 113 volunteers on Friday.
