A man charged in 2003 with statutory rape and who is on the Sex Offender Registry has been rearrested by Murfreesboro Police.

33 Year old Joshua Lee Baxter was found to be passed out in a Laundromat bathroom on Greenland Drive, according to police. Officers say they had to wake the man who said he was intoxicated. Baxter evidently told police he had consumed vodka two hours prior.

The official police report said that Baxter was within 1,000 feet of MTSU, Reeves Rogers Elementary School and several Day Cares.

The subject was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Violation of the Sex Offenders Registry.
