An expensive vandalism to a Saddlebrook Drive woman's car. Last Friday, the victim called police after she discovered sugar had been poured into her gas tank. It was discovered when she attempted to put gas in her car. Damages were estimated at 15-hundred dollars.

According to car care experts, pouring sugar into a gas tank will turn the sugar into a cement like substance and quickly render the vehicle unusable. If not caught early, the sugar gets into every nook and cranny of the engine and locks up the engine.
