Sunday should be sunny and a perfect day to visit artists' studios in the area. It's the final day for the 20th Art Studio Tour.

There are many unique gifts available at this year's tour. Clay Bush uses a commercial sewing machine to create attractive and almost indestructable packs made from seatbelts (photo below)

Internationally known Murfreesboro artist Norris Hall, who created the "Nashville Cat" at EuroDisney was offering his colorful clocks, pictures, switchplates and even books (photo below).

The Readyville area featured studios with Blacksmith Artist Joe Brown and elegant furniture created by Alan Daigre. Daigre's chairs feature a unique design with small wood squares supported by strong ropes. As you sit in them, the chair conforms to your body (see photo below).

The Art Studio Tour has another item for the really hard person on your Christmas list. When was the last time you saw a hand carved, wooden bow tie? Alf Sharp is offering these one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

Woodworker and turner Doug Pelren from Milton wraps-up Sunday with a wide selection of wooden bowls, plates, artistic table containers, and more (see below).

There were also woven pieces of apparel and art available at many of the studios. (Photo below) Vickie Vipperman displays some of her popular creations.

Jewelry was another popular artistic creation at many of the studios across the county. (Below Photo) Ramsey Hall displays some of her hand-created jewelry.

There is no admission fee, and plenty of snacks to enjoy along the way. Sunday's tour is open from 10:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon. For a map to all studios and more information, visit their website: www.artstudiotour.org.
