Joe Swanson, Jr. Manager
A long-time resident of Murfreesboro, Joe¹s relationship with real estate
and construction started at the age of 14, working summers in the commercial
construction field. His first supervisory position was at the age of 21 on a
129,000 square foot industrial project and since then has designed,
estimated, and built hundreds of thousands of square feet and thousands of
homes. Starting his own residential real estate and construction company in
1992 enhanced his existing practical and applicable knowledge of the real
estate and construction industry, which benefits many aspects of the
family-owned and operated business. He and his wife, Terry, celebrated their
26th wedding anniversary this year and have 3 grown children living in
Murfreesboro.
Michael Wrather - Leasing & Sales Agent
A life-long native of Murfreesboro, Michael has 17 years experience in the
real estate related industry. After working 4 years with Swanson Realty and
Construction as Managing Broker/VP of Operations, he joined Swanson
Companies in 2010 and is currently managing broker for Swanson Realty and
maintenance manager for Swanson Companies, in addition to Sales/Leasing
Agent. Michael has been a licensed real estate broker for more than 15 yrs.
He is married with 3 children.
Jamie Logan - Leasing & Sales
Jamie was born in Alabama and moved to Murfreesboro at an early age. She has
been in Real Estate working with residential, commercial, and property
management for 7 + years. Her experience and enthusiasm along with her drive
to inform and serve makes Jamie a great addition to the Swanson Companies
Team.
Kurt Johnson - Leasing & Sales Agent
Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, Kurt has lived in Middle Tennessee for
2 years. He has been a business owner and in sales for more than 25 years
and involved in real estate for 2 years. Kurt's education is in accounting,
which he worked in for 6 years before deciding that sales was his first
love. The combination of an accounting background and sales has been a
successful mix for him. Kurt is a member of the Real Estate Investors of
Nashville (REIN) and he has been a member of the Optimist Club.
Joe Swanson, III Estimator
A long-time resident of Murfreesboro, Joe¹s relationship with real estate
and construction started at the age of 13, working summers in the
residential construction field. Since graduating from Siegel High School in
2004, Joe3 has worked both in the Commercial and Residential construction
field. In the summer of 2011, Joe3 has moved into the office at Swanson
Companies to expand his knowledge of the trade by working as the
construction estimator. He worked for nearly a year in the residential
plumbing field and has been involved in the handicapable remodel industry.
He has his Soil Erosion Certification. He was recently married in late
August 2011 to Holly E. (Hill) Swanson.
Cathy Tucker - Accounting and Estimator
As a native Murfreesboro resident, Cathy is an enthusiastic and experienced
asset to the Swanson Companies team. She worked with her family owned and
operated Parsley Brothers Construction Company for 37 years as Office
Manager. She has worked along side the Swanson Family business for over 35
years, so Cathy has really been a part of the family. She officially came to
work in Feb. 2011 for Swanson Companies doing Accounts Payable and
Estimating. She and her husband have been married for 26 years and have 3
children.
