There was a home robbery in LaVergne on Friday and authorities are now investigating. After the robbery, there was a police chase, and shots were fired by LaVergne officers. WGNS' Rafferty Cleary has more on the story...

VERBATIM:

We are told the chase went into Davidson County and into the area of Antioch. During the chase, the Nashville Metro Police was notified. Evidently no one was injured in the pursuit, but the driver’s side window of the suspect’s SUV was said to be shot out.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation took over the case and is leading the investigation into the firing of the weapon (allegedly by a LaVergne officer), the pursuit and the robbery.
