TBI Needs Money to Buy Drugs

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is in need of money to buy drugs. The TBI told lawmakers the money would be used in sting operations. The TBI is requesting $500-thousand for their “confidential fund,” a fund that has not been in use since the budget cuts of 2009. Right now it looks as if the money is also cut from Governor Bill Haslam's budget as well.
