The state of Tennessee is in search of funding to cover the costs of future road projects and more. Tennessee will be looking under the cushions of the couch to come up with $38-billion between now and year 2015. The state also wants the financial support for our schools, health, safety and welfare projects as well.
The Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations released a report that showed the state needs to make road improvements, bridge repairs and add new waterlines and sewers to several communities.
Right now, there are close to 4,000 transportation and utility projects awaiting approval. The projects add up to $19.1-billion.
