Sat. (Nov. 8, 2014) 8AM registration/9AM tee off "4th ANNUAL TURKEY TEE OFF" at Cedar Crest Golf Course (Mona Rd.). This benefits the Child Advocacy Center. One in ten children are sexually abused before reaching age 18. This golf tournament benefits CAC provides critically needed services to abused children. For those who do not take advantage of the Oct. 15 - 30, 2014 EARLY VOTING opportunities, the election date is set for Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014. Each precinct is open 7AM-7PM on that day. And then, WGNS broadcasts the results "live" from the Election Commission starting at 7:15PM that evening.
You will vote for Tennessee governor, US Senate, 4th District U.S. House of Representatives, 13th District State Senate, State House of Representatives for the 34th, 37th, 48th and 49th districts.
Also voting for Eagleville's mayor and 3 council members, La Vergne's mayor and 2 aldermen, Smyrna's mayor and 3 council members.

Daily (now through Oct. 31, 2014) PAINT A BOWL that will be fired and filled with soup or chili in the 7th Annual Cookin' To Build on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014 at the historic Rutherford County Courthouse. The annual Rutherford Romp 5k and 10k will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 this year. They will also host a one mile fun run for participants as well. The races will benefit The Child Advocacy Center of Rutherford County & The Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. It will be held at Gateway Island in Murfreesboro.

As he talks with homeless persons, explores old buildings or interviews a person to get their "life experiences", he also take photos. Sat. (Oct. 11, 2014) 6:55am WHEEL CHAIR RACE; 7am THE 8th ANNUAL MIDDLE HALF MARATHON offers 13.1-miles of flat, fast, and fun run through history. This race is "sold out". Even though the runners were increased to 3,250, the race was full within hours (registration on June 7, 2014). Youth can participate as "walk ins" to the Kid's Fun Run along with fun activities during the event the centers around MTSU's Dean Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium (1568 Greenland Dr.).
