Statistics show that the average THDA homebuyer has a household income of $58,000 and a credit score of 680. The purchase price of their home is usually in the $125,000 range.

THDA also helps first-time home-buyers with up to $10,000 in down payment fund, if they qualify. Perry said, "This is particularly helpful for persons who have served in the military."
