The American Heart Association says thank you, Rutherford County!

The Rutherford Heart Walk that was held on September 13th raised more than $110,000 net to date, beating its goal of $100,000. The event brought together an estimated 1,200 walkers at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. The annual event by the American Heart Association raises funds to support research and education to fight the leading two killers in the world, heart disease and stroke.

The campaign is only a few thousand dollars away from breaking the all-time record for this event! If you want to help break the record, donations are still being accepted at www.rutherfordheartwalk.org.
