The Farmers Market continues in Murfreesboro. This week, the market will be open on both Tuesday and Friday.

"Gardening Apps for Your Smartphone" is the topic on Tuesday, June 2nd. The class is presented by Master Gardener Ken Roberge. Ken will review the useful apps that may aid in the identification and treatment of common residential plant problems. This Rutherford County Farmer's Market class is free and begins at 9 a.m. in the Lane Agri-Park Community Center, located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

June 5

On Friday, June 5, the topic is "Raised Bed Gardening" and this class starts at 9 a.m. as well. It will be given by Master Gardener Frank Crawford. This will be a discussion on the many benefits of raised bed gardening. Various types of raised beds and construction methods, site requirements and plant suggestions will be covered. This Rutherford County Farmer's Market class is free and begins at 9 a.m. in the Lane Agri-Park Community Center, located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

The Rutherford County Farmers' Market is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to noon at the Lane Agri-Park Community Center, 315 John R. Rice Blvd, Murfreesboro. As always, it is a producer only market.
