Another gun maker may locate just a short drive down the interstate from Barrett Firearms, the maker of the famous 50-caliber sniper rifle. WGNS has learned that Beretta Firearms may locate a plant in Manchester, Tennessee.

Coffee County Mayor David Pennington and Manchester Mayor Lonnie Norman told partner station WMSR, “The Coffee County Industrial board hosted Representatives from Berretta Firearms Thursday. They were in Manchester for a visit and to discuss possible sites in Coffee County for a new plant. There seems to be a good match between Berretta requirements and area capabilities.”

That being said, more guns equals more jobs.
