A woman in her eighties called the police to tell them that she believes her caretaker had forged $3,000 on her checking account. The woman notified Murfreesboro Police on Sunday.

While officers were talking to the woman about the forged checks, the victim said that the same caretaker recently threw a walker at her when she told the provider that she had to go to the restroom. Now, the case is labeled as not only a theft and forgery, but also an assault.

The Department of Human Services was notified about the case as it sounded to be an "Elder Abuse" situation.

As of Tuesday, an arrest has not been made.
