Thousands of dollars in shoes stolen from Murfreesboro apartments

Shoes worth as much as an inexpensive used car were stolen in an aggravated burglary reported in Murfreesboro on Christmas Eve. The burglary happened at The Pointe at Raiders Campus, an apartment on North Tennessee Boulevard.

Some of the shoes that were stolen from the apartment included 11 pairs of Nike Jordan's valued at more than $2,000. Kobe Bryant Nikes, and Penny Hardaway shoes were also taken along with 27-pairs of Nike and Air Jordan socks valued at over $800.

While it is not known who stole the footwear, it is known how they got into the apartment. The back door to the apartment was evidently forced open.

In another apartment at the same North Tennessee complex, 16-pairs of different types of Nike Jordan shoes were stolen. In that case, the shoes were valued at over $3,000.

So far, no arrests have been made.
