Somebody is doing a lot of scratching. The clerk at a Mapco gas station on Memorial Boulevard says that nearly $3,000 worth of scratch off lottery tickets were stolen.  The employee at the store told law enforcement personnel that he became suspicious of a person who came in to cash a winning ticket after realizing the ticket had not been activated in the computer system as they normally are when sold to customers.

Upon review of an in store security video, it was found that the culprit entered the gas station and stole the lottery tickets off a desk in the rear office. The subject even reached up and moved the position of the security camera to hide his face.

The subject was described as a bald white male wearing a Titan’s shirt. He was not caught.
