Three men allegedly try to bust open the change machine at a local car wash

A 27 year old Houston, Georgia man was apprehended after allegedly breaking into the change machine at Mr. Bee's car wash on Memorial Blvd. The person who reported the theft told police that the subject had parked his vehicle at Poplar Village Apartments behind the car wash. Once at the business, the man allegedly tried to pry open the change machine.

Travis Jones and two others were caught when they tried to drive away from the apartments. Inside their truck, police found crowbars and cutting pliers.

The other men arrested with Jones are also from Georgia. They were 31 year old twins Syris and Syron Lemon. All three men were unsuccessful in stealing the change, but were successful in receiving charges of burglary, vandalism and possession of burglary tools.

The Georgia men will have to stick around Tennessee as their court date has been set for March 14, 2015 in a Rutherford County courtroom.
