Shots were fired at an apartment after the tenant told police that he refused to let three unknown men into his party. The victim was having a party when the three men approached his door and attempted to enter. After the three men were told they could not enter the party, one of the three allegedly opened fire, shooting out a window in the apartment. Luckily, no one was injured in the shooting. The bullet was found in an interior wall of the apartment. A second bullet entered another apartment and was found lodged in a wall. Again, no one was injured.
When police got to the scene of the apartment on North Rutherford Boulevard, the three individuals were gone. No arrest could be made. Several spent cassings from a .22-caliber gun were located by detectives.
