TONIGHT IS NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME

Rutherford County is again participating in NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME, an opportunity for neighbors to meet with law enforcement officer and learn ways to reduce their chances of being victims of crime. Free food, crime prevention information and an opportunity to get to know your neighbors event better--the ultimate crime prevention method!

This is the 19th year that the City of Murfreesboro has participated in National Night Out Against Crime. It is an opportunity to talk with neighbors and police officers to plan ways that will make your community safer.

5:30-9:00PM A community open house where the public comes into the Smyrna Police Department and actually meet local officers, who in-turn share ways to avoid being a crime victim.

La VERGNE

5:30-8:00PM Veteran's Memorial Park (5093 Murfreesboro Rd. at Floyd Mayfield Dr.) Family fun activities along with the annual ballgame between the La Vergne Police and Fire Departments. Learn how to reduce your risk of being a victim of crime with special information, see the SWAT team along with law enforcement crime-fighting gear.
