Traffic Fatalities Down in Volunteer State

Traffic fatalities are down in the volunteer state for 2011. In fact, this is the first time in 49-years that traffic fatalities have been as low as they are today. Last week’s numbers showed that 926-people were killed in traffic wrecks in 2011. The last time the number was lower was in 1962. In ’62, there were 811 people killed in traffic related accidents in Tennessee.
