Trio Face Various Charges after Evading Police

A husband and wife along with another Murfreesboro man face various charges after driving off after being pulled over on Robert Rose Boulevard at North Thompson Lane.

Officer Megan Benson reports she pulled over a vehicle with Jessica and Thomas Festian and Josh Coulter inside around 2:20 Friday morning. This after receiving a call from Sam's bar of three people who left with a high bar tab and the vehicle matched a description.

The officer reports the back passenger and driver swapped seats as she made her way to the vehicle. It was discovered the back passenger, Thomas Festian, did not have an ID.

As Officer Benson walked to turn her blue lights off, the new driver, Jessica Festian sped away. Shortly afterward, officers caught up with them in a courtyard area near Henley Station on Robert Rose.

Jessica Festian was charged with DUI, DUI by Allowing and Felony Evading. Thomas Festian was charged with public intoxication and the third passenger, Josh Coulter, was charged with his third DUI, driving on a revoked license and violation of the implied consent law.
