Two Hit by Tax Fraud - Someone Else Gets Their Refund Check

Two more people have reported being scammed out of their tax refund checks in Murfreesboro. This marks the 5th and 6th persons to file a report of tax fraud with the city police department. Both victims are now working with the IRS to clear the fraudulent transaction and lawfully file their taxes.
