A Kittrell Volunteer Fire Department tanker flips and injures two firefighters. It happened around noon on Kittrell Halls Hill Road as they were headed to a Readyville fire.  Robert Rickman has the story...

One of the firefighters was pinned inside the tanker for almost an hour before being extricated. Twenty-two year old Brandon Merlo was taken to Vanderbilt via Lifeflight for injuries he sustained while trapped inside. Twenty-four year old Brenton Tyring was taken to St. Thomas Rutherford. Both men are now in stable condition and recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

The tanker was carrying 3,000 gallons of water. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.  Robert Rickman, WGNS news.
