Two men Accused of shooting at Riverdale High School Students with a Pellet Gun to Appear in Court

Two men who attended MTSU and reportedly used a pellet gun to do a drive by shooting of sorts will be in court on Friday in Murfreesboro where they will face some very serious charges. The Friday court date is called a "Discovery Date." The Discovery is the pre-trial phase where the accused learns of evidence against him that was previously collected by police.

Mohamad Nasoah Al-Dahan and Khaled Mahfouz face 20 counts of assault and one count of evading arrest in a motor vehicle. The two men are the ones who allegedly opened fire with a pellet gun while reportedly aiming at Riverdale High School students at a soccer game on Warrior Drive. The two 21 year old men were said to be in a small Toyota when the incident occurred this past August (2015).

The subjects were apprehended after a short police pursuit that ended on Magnolia Drive. As for the Riverdale students, no one was injured.

The two men have yet to hire an attorney to represent. Both men are out on bond.
