Two Murfreesboro men are facing various weapon and drug charges after local police respond to shots fired in the area of Greenland Drive. Officer Aaron Price reports hearing the gunfire from a distance while patrolling Friday around 9pm. A call to dispatch identified four black males wearing masks were seen outside an apartment.

So Price and other officers approach the building and eventually the apartment where they found Demario Johnson, David Jones and two other black males. The smell of marijuana allowed for a search of the apartment, which turned up drugs and weapons. Further investigating revealed shell casings outside the car of Jones. When the vehicle was searched, pistol and extended magazine were found.
